AlightMod.org (“Website”, “we”, “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This DMCA Policy outlines the procedure for reporting alleged infringements.

1. Reporting Claims of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on AlightMod.org infringes your copyright, please provide a written notification with the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, please provide a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.   5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

2. Submitting a DMCA Notice

3. Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that material you posted on AlightMod.org was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, a counter-notification must be a written communication provided to our Designated Copyright Agent that includes substantially the following:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  3. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which AlightMod.org may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of alleged infringement or an agent of such person.
  4. Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Repeat Infringers

AlightMod.org will promptly terminate without notice the accounts of users that are determined by AlightMod.org to be repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice and/or has had a user submission removed from the website more than twice.

5. Modifications to Policy

AlightMod.org reserves the right to modify, alter, or add to this policy, and all users should regularly check back to stay current with any such changes.
